Three Easy Steps to Weight Loss

The three steps to achieving weight loss consist of three basic concepts. The first is to determine your metabolism. There are three types of metabolism differing from one to another. There is the Carb type, the Protein type, and the Mixed type. The Carb type are the people who are always on the go and who claim that they don't have time to have breakfast and resort to eating refined carbohydrates and baked goods as a substitute for a real meal. These food products often times contain refined sugar and so when they have a snack, they feel pseudo satiated but in reality, they end up eating more when in a few hours they begin to feel hungry again.

The Protein type individuals are those who crave for greasy, fatty and rich food. They usually enjoy eating meat and its many varieties such as in pizzas, sausages, hamburgers and other processed meats products.

And the third type of metabolism is the Mixed type which consists of someone who enjoys what the Carb and Protein type are accustomed to eating. In this first step, you must determine your metabolism so you know what to do for the next step... to create your own meal plan.

In creating your meal plan, it doesn't have to be particularly fancy or expensive. Being resourceful is key. Knowing your metabolism, you learn to avoid the food that you are often eating. Like for example: The Carb type individuals being more carbohydrate eaters, need to have a high carbohydrate low protein. This doesn't mean that the carb type can binge on all the baked goods and starchy vegetables they can gorge on, but this also means that they have to also comply with their protein needs. Since no one wants to completely eliminate carbohydrates, there can always be a compromise made and balance is always utmost important.

The third step is after having chosen an appropriate meal plan- choose the best food. This may seem to sound simpler than it looks but it is definitely a very important step in your weight loss. The rule of the thumb is to always to check the ingredients and to eat only the food with ingredients you can pronounce.

Most packaged, ready to eat and processed food contains loads and loads of artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated oils, and high fructose corn syrup- all of which are the enemy. Not only do we rapidly gain weight from binging on them but, the damage it does to the liver is irreversible. These chemicals are actually toxins, and the liver works double time trying to eliminate them therefore exhausting it, causing possible liver damage that can turn into a lot of other things.

These three steps if utilized properly and carefully will be of real help to your weight loss efforts. With exercise and positive attitude, one can achieve their weight loss goals and definitely see the change, fast!
